Day2 : Full Day Tbilisi City Tour
The capital of Georgia – Tbilisi, is the ancient multicultural city. Here you will be captivated by a thrilling blend of eastern enigma and western elegance. The traditions of the East and West meet here to form a culture unlike any other in the world. During the tour we take you to the places that will show you old city.
You can take a glance to the history of the city from early centuries to nowadays by walking in narrow streets of the city and exploring the religious and secular architecture. Here you find different religious buildings – churches, synagogues, mosques, as well as famous 19th century houses with wooden multi-colored balconies. Mtskheta day trip offers you to escape the city and visit the oldest city of Georgia within just few hours.
During the tour, you can enjoy panoramic aerial views of mountains around Jvari Monastery, observe the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers, or have a time trip back to early centuries in the area of Svetitskhoveli cathedral and Samtavro church, at the end of the tour you will taste Georgian wine.
Day3 : Full Day Kazbegi Mountains
On our tour to Ananuri-Kazbegi mountains you will have an exciting drive, heading north along the Georgian Military Highway into the high Caucasus Mountains. This is the main road running for 220 km from Tbilisi to Vladikavkaz in Russia, a spectacular highway that winds its way through sheer mountains. This route actually dates back to the 1st century BC and is still important as the only link connecting to Russia through the Caucasus Mountains.
Trip to Ananuri-Kazbegi includes several touristic areas, such as Ananuri architectural complex, Zhinvali water reservoir, Gergeti Trinity Church and Kazbegi village. Zhinvali Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Aragvi River
Ananuri-Kazbegi
Ananuri is a fortress situated on the foreland by the Aragvi River, not far from Zhinvali water reservoir and about 70 km from Tbilisi, Georgia. It was built by the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century. The fortress is on the UNESCO Tentative list. The fortress consist of two fortifications joined by a crenellated curtain wall.
Gudauri Ski resort is located on the south-facing plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort is situated in the Stepantsminda District, along the Georgian Military Highway near the Cross Pass, at an elevation of 2,200 meters, above sea level with skiable area enjoying maximum exposure to the sun. Monument or Treaty of Georgievsk is a monument built in 1983 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the ongoing friendship between Georgia and Soviet Russia.
Gergeti Trinity Church- the oldest church is located under Mount Kazbek, 2170m above the town of Stepantsminda (former Kazbegi) and the village of Gergeti whose name she had adopted. Day4 : Full day Tour Kakheti Wine Region
Our Kakheti tour offers a day in one of the most beautiful regions in Georgia. The very best wines come from Kakheti. Almost three-quarters of the county"s wine grapes are grown here. Trip to Kakheti includes several tourist destination, such as Monastery of St. Nino in Bodbe, Sighnaghi – City of Love. On our way we will taste georgian bread called puri. Puri is traditionally baked in a deep circular clay oven called tone.
During the harvest season, we will also visit one of the biggest wine factories in Khakheti, where you can taste and buy wine. During the tour we will visit : Winery company KTW and have wine tasting of the best wines. Masster classes: baking Georgian bread Shoti Pirosmanashvili Museum State Museum which was established in Pirosmani’s home village of Mirzaani in 1960 and includes his family house and an exhibition hall displaying some of the artist’s original works and personal belongings.
Alazani valley
Monastery of St. Nino in Bodbe - Originally was built in the 9th Century. It is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia. Monastery holds the tomb of ST. Nino, the Cappadocian maiden who converted Georgian people to Chtistianity as early as 337 AD. It has a breathtaking view of the Alazani valley and snowcapped Caucasus mountains. Sighnaghi – City of Love. It is the prettiest town in Kaheti. Sighnagi orginally was developed in the 18th century by King Erekle II. The defensive walles and 28 towers were built by him against Lezgian invasion.
The city has wonderful views over the Alazani valley to the Caucasus beyond.
